Sunscot's Managing Director Keith Martin went to sea as a Cadet in 1964 and received his Master's License in 1975. During his sea career Keith commanded or served on board tankers, bulk carriers, LNG vessels and OBO's and after almost 20 years at sea he came ashore in 1983 to work with a leading ship management company in Hong Kong.

Keith established Sunscot & Company in 1986 to provide ship management, vessel sale and purchase, chartering and consultancy services to ship owners, banks and other financial institutions worldwide. Today Sunscot has over 16 years service to the maritime community and, under Keith's direction, Sunscot has become experienced in operating all types of vessels and can provide crew from a variety of nationalities. Further Sunscot has earned a reputation for being able to take over problem vessels and operate them promptly and efficiently with minimal commercial disruption.
